It’s been another massive day in tough conditions for our crews in the Yeppoon area where bushfires have ripped through parts of our network. We’ve got local crews from Yeppoon and reinforcements from Moura, Monto, Biloela, Bundaberg, Emerald and Blackwater to help assess and repair damaged poles and wires. A massive shout out to all our impacted customers for their patience. Our crews will be back on the ground tomorrow to make the network safe and restore power where it’s possible.
Please stay safe and listen to advice from emergency services. If you see lines down or poles on fire, stay well clear and call 000. Queensland Police Service Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – QFES ABC Capricornia The Morning Bulletin Livingstone Shire Council
